Avoid : Tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages, flesh foods, condiments, highly flavoured dishes, sugar and white flour products.

B - OTHER MEASURES

  1. Drink at least eight glasses of water daily, but do not take water with meais.
  2. Apply frequently fomentations over the stomach and spine, cold compress to the head and hot towels to the neck.
  3. Take footbath at the time of severe headache.
  4. Yogic asanas, plenty of rest, and fresh air and deep breathing.
Don’ts for Stress Depression Anxiety
  1. Foods such as chocolates, cheese and other dairy products, fried foods in general, onions, tomatoes, citrus fruits as well as coffee, tea, nicotine and alcoholic drinks which stimulate or depress the nerves and alter the size of blood vessels
  2. Painkilling drugs may give temporary relief but they do not remove the cause. The patient soon gets addicted to strong drugs which also lose their effectiveness in course of time. The best treatment for Stress Depression Anxiety e is to prevent it.
  3. The foods which should be avoided in future are white flour products, sugar, confectionary, rich cakes, pastries, sweets, refined cereals, flesh foods, rich heavy and greasy foods, tinned or preserved foods, pickles, condiments and sauces.
